Our primEconomic independence is key to sustainable change. We provide practical vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and leadership skills to help adolescents, young women, and local mothers generate income, support their families, and influence their communities.

Detailed activities and approaches:

• Vocational and Technical Training: Hands-on courses in high-demand skills such as tailoring and garment making, reusable pad production, hairdressing, catering, liquid soap and sanitizer making, crafts (beadwork, basketry), and basic agriculture/value addition. Training lasts 3–6 months and includes both theory and practical sessions in our community training center.
• Entrepreneurship and Business Development: Graduates receive training in business planning, financial literacy, record-keeping, marketing, and forming savings groups (VSLA model). We provide startup toolkits (sewing machines, materials, etc.) and small seed grants or low-interest loans through community revolving funds.
• Leadership, Peace-Building, and Rights Advocacy: Specialized workshops for women on public speaking, conflict resolution, and participating in local decision-making forums (village councils, peace committees). We promote women’s human rights through dialogues on gender equality, ending domestic violence, and inheritance rights, always grounded in biblical teachings on justice and equality.
• Income-Generation Support and Market Linkages: We connect trainees to markets, cooperatives, and exhibitions to sell their products. Follow-up mentorship ensures businesses thrive, with success stories shared to inspire others.

Through this pillar, we foster self-reliance, reduce poverty, and amplify women’s voices in community leadership.

Across all three pillars, we emphasize preaching the word of God, spiritual discipleship, and active community engagement. Programs are delivered in partnership with beneficiaries to ensure ownership, cultural relevance, and long-term impact.
