Our primary goal is developing a secure and safe world for poor peoples in the world that meets the needs of We address the unique health challenges faced by adolescents and women in rural Uganda, promoting dignity, informed choices, and biblical principles of purity and self-respect. Our SRHR programs reduce stigma, prevent health crises, and empower women to make God-honoring decisions about their bodies.

Detailed activities and approaches:

  • Menstrual Hygiene Management Initiative: We design, produce, and distribute affordable, eco-friendly reusable menstrual pads made from local materials. Beneficiaries receive training on pad-making (as an income skill), proper usage, hygiene practices, and disposal. We also conduct school and community workshops to break taboos around menstruation and ensure girls stay in school during their periods.
  • Health Awareness and Disease Prevention: Targeted campaigns focus on life-threatening conditions including HIV/AIDS (prevention, testing, stigma reduction, and linkage to care), cervical and breast cancer (early detection and screening referrals), malaria prevention, and obstetric fistula (awareness and support for affected women). Sessions include medical guest speakers, drama performances, and faith-based discussions on sexual purity and healthy relationships.
  • Reproductive Rights and Advocacy: We train adolescents and young women on their rights to bodily autonomy, consent, and access to health services. Programs include confidential counseling on family planning, preventing teenage pregnancy, and reporting gender-based violence.
  • Faith-Integrated Discipleship: All SRHR sessions incorporate Bible teachings on the value of the body as God’s temple, encouraging abstinence, mutual respect in relationships, and seeking God’s guidance in life choices.

This pillar saves lives, reduces school absenteeism, and equips women to protect their health and that of their families.
